Catherine Zeta-Jones urges movie character to relax

(Cover) - EN Movies - Catherine Zeta-Jones has joked that her Rock of Ages character needs to “loosen up and get laid”.

The actress is starring in the new musical film alongside Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Julianne Hough and Alec Baldwin. Catherine plays the part of straight-laced mayor’s wife Patricia Whitmore. She has now revealed the advice she would give her character.

“Get out, loosen up, get laid!” she quipped in an interview with the UK edition of OK! magazine.

Catherine was excited to star in another musical movie, after appearing in the 2002 big screen adaptation of Chicago with Renée Zellweger.

The Hollywood star has explained how she managed to learn all the intricate dance moves.

“It was just a case of getting back into it. I love to dance and I love being around dancers,” she revealed.

Catherine also spoke about what her life was like in the ‘80s – the decade in which Rock of Ages is set.

“Mine were just boring. Unfortunately I always seemed to be working!” she mused.

Rock of Ages is scheduled for worldwide release in June.
