(Cover) - EN Movies - Jada Pinkett Smith is excited to be at the Cannes Film Festival because it’s always “great fun”.
The annual glitzy event is currently taking place in France and is renowned for attracting Hollywood’s biggest stars. DreamWorks Animation's Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is showing out of competition at the festival and Jada is expected to grace the red carpet with her husband Will Smith to promote the movie. She has already been spotted at the event with their 11-year-old daughter Willow.
Although she is looking forward to spending time in France, Jada rarely plans too far ahead.
“I can’t wait to go to Cannes! I've always had great fun at the festival. For the rest I do not know what I will do in the coming months, my schedule does not go further than two weeks,” she told Italian magazine Io Donna. “It is hard to split my time between Annie, Will’s work, our production team and the family routine. It is a continuous race… if you hesitate, you are lost.”
The new movie features the voices of Jada, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock and Sacha Baron Cohen.
Jada and Will are one of the hardest working couples in Hollywood. As well as juggling their busy acting careers, they are also helping their children Willow and Jaden pursue their showbiz dreams.
Jada likes to spend as much time as possible with her family and always makes sure she is there to support them when they are working in the music or movie industry.
“When Will is working on a project, I usually have to take care of the kids, but now he is with Jaden because they are playing the same movie, and Willow is with me because I'm the producer of her albums and I follow her into the recording studio,” she explained.
The 65th Cannes Film Festival runs from May 16-27.
