Lindsay Lohan ‘not looking for love’

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly “sworn off” romantic relations while she concentrates on filming for her new movie.

The troubled actress has been known more for her tumultuous personal life over the past few years than her acting talents. However, since landing the coveted starring role in a new Dame Elizabeth Taylor biopic, Lindsay is said to be keen to concentrate on re-launching her film career.

According to US website TMZ, sources say the star has “sworn off dating for the time being”, adding she “wants to avoid any relationships or emotional attachments as she gets ready to shoot” the new movie.

The 25-year-old star would reportedly rather “devote all her spare time” to studying the late actress’ character than focus on a new relationship.

Lindsay has been getting her career back on track of late. She hosted US TV show Saturday Night Live a few weeks ago and spoke of her determination to win trust back from fans and industry people alike.

“I think that that’s gonna take – I think that takes time. And I think it’s actions. People can say things all they want, but I think I still need to go through the process of proving myself, you know, with SNL, being on time, being, you know, keeping my – can’t say the word – stuff together,” she said on The Today Show.

“I could see where it could be scary for people to invest in me. And I don’t want people to have that reason to be scared anymore. So being able to have this opportunity with SNL and the film, I’m gonna do what I’m supposed to do, and enjoy doing it, and do it as best as I can.”
