(Cover) - EN Movies - Matthew McConaughey wishes he already had the script for The Lincoln Lawyer sequel.
The 42-year-old star played sleazy defence attorney Mick Haller in the hit 2011 movie.
Matthew is eager to reprise his role and is impatiently waiting to see the plotline for the next instalment.
“I want to do more. They are writing the script for the next one right now,” he told UK TV show Lorraine. “It will be an amalgamation of two books and I am looking forward to reading the script as soon as it gets in. I wish I already had it.”
Matthew thoroughly enjoyed playing the shrewd character, who suffered a crisis of conscience after representing a wealthy client. He believes there is more to discover about the lawyer and thinks the movie could become a successful franchise.
“Mick Haller is a character I would love to get back into the shoes of, I would love to do two, three Mick Haller stories,” he added.
Matthew is currently promoting Magic Mike. In the movie he plays a veteran stripper and performs a series of sexy dances. The father-of-two was quizzed on whether he would have accepted the role if his two-year-old daughter Vida had been old enough to see it.
“Oh yeah, let me see if this role came about in 16 years from now, what would that make me? 58? I don’t know if I could do it then,” he replied, before apparently reconsidering. “I would give it a punt.”
