(Cover) - EN Movies - Ashton Kutcher has signed up to play the Steve Jobs in a biopic about the Apple co-founder.

The 34-year-old actor will play the technology icon in Joshua Michael’s indie movie Jobs.

The Two and a Half Men star is working alongside producer Mark Hulme and writer Matt Whiteley, according to Empire.

While Ashton seems like an unlikely choice to play the businessman, the actor bears a striking resemblance to a younger Steve.

Ashton, best known for his comedies, has tackled serious roles before such as 2004 science fiction thriller The Butterfly Effect, and 2006 coastguard action film The Guardian.

His new challenge will see him portray Steve from his early days through his struggles and success with Apple.

Steve died last October aged 56 after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer.

The entrepreneur was praised for his vision but was also known for his pushy management and foul moods.
