Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez have reportedly returned to the US a married couple.

The American actress was spotted walking through Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday after tying the knot with the French actor.

The 46-year-old was seen sporting temporary inkings, which appeared to be henna tattoos, at the terminal.

She was joined by the actor and her five-year-old daughter, Nahla, who Olivier carried in his arms.

Halle was also sporting a large baby bump as she made her way into the Los Angeles, California streets.

The actress recently announced she is expecting a son with her French spouse in the fall.

The couple are believed to have tied the knot at the Chateau des Conde in the Vallery region of his country on Saturday, according to French website Pure People.

Olivier, 47, revealed his engagement to Halle in March 2012 after two years together.

The pair had planned a move to France with her daughter.

However, Halle lost a court battle against the girl's father, Gabriel Aubrey, who fought to keep her in the US.

Halle's marriage to Olivier would mark her third trip down the aisle.

She wed baseball player David Justice in 1993 but the couple split four years later.

Her four-year marriage to musician Eric Benét ended in 2005. She began dating Nahla's dad later that year but the couple split in 2010.

Her engagement to Olivier came as a surprise because the screen star had been adamant for years she would never exchange vows again.

"I will never, never get married again," she said in 2007. "Actually it's just that now I've come to a place where I think two people can share their lives without the ring, without the piece of paper."

The union would be Olivier's first.
