Efron and Rodriguez 'very cute together'

Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez’s friend has told fans not to be “concerned” about their relationship.

The 17 Again actor was spotted kissing the 35-year-old earlier this week during a vacation in Sardinia. Michelle has a reputation for her wild side and with Zac having spent time in rehab last year, some people had voiced trepidation over the relationship. But a mutual friend of the couple has tried to allay any fears and revealed the Lost actress is good for the 26-year-old.

“Don’t be concerned, Z and Mich have a mutual healthy influence each other and they are very cute together,” Gianluca Vacchi wrote on his Instagram account.

Many have speculated about the authenticity of their union considering the fact that Michelle was photographed numerous times earlier this year getting up close and personal with supermodel Cara Delevingne. Reports have claimed the Fast & Furious actress was dating the hunk to get back at her ex but another friend agreed with Gianluca that the pair have genuine feelings for each other.

“Zac and Michelle have been dating in secret for a few weeks,” a source told UK newspaper The Sun. “Initially Michelle knew it would make Cara jealous but they’ve grown genuinely fond of each other.”

The actors were photographed on a boat trip, horseback riding on the beach and hitting the clubs together during their vacation. Zac previously had a five-year relationship with his High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens which ended in 2010. Meanwhile Michelle has reportedly dated Colin Farrell, Jesse Jane and Lenny Kravitz.
