Téa Leoni and Tim Daly are “really good together” according to a co-star.

The Madam Secretary actress and her new boyfriend made their public debut at the White House Correspondents' Dinner last week. And now their co-star Geoffrey Arend has now revealed how surprised the cast were that the on-screen lovers had moved their romance into real life.

“I heard a rumour about it and everyone was like, 'no, no way!' And I'm like, 'maybe…'” the actor told People magazine.

“Nobody really knew. You don't want to go to your boss and be like, 'Hey, so who are you dating' So now I think we're all really protective. He couldn't be a nicer guy, Tim's the best – they're really good together."

Geoffrey, who is married to Mad Men star Christina Hendricks, plays a staffer in Téa’s character’s team in the show. And when the publication pointed out that Téa and Tim have sizzling chemistry onscreen, the 37-year-old was in total agreement.
“It's like, 'They're actually really kissing!' I felt that way sometimes,” he laughed.

Téa reportedly began dating the 59-year-old in December, only a few months after she divorced second husband David Duchovny. The 49-year-old was married to the X-Files actor for 17 years, although they reportedly spent the last three years of their union separated. Together they have two children, Madelaine West and Kyd Miller and Téa recently admitted that despite enjoying her profession, her family is her number one priority.

“People tell me I've never really made it. They say, 'You don't have an Oscar,'" she told More magazine. "There's not an accolade in Hollywood that could replace time with my kids. At this stage of my life, it's not about contentment. Or appealing to 20-year-olds. Or awards. It's about finding something more. As I tell my daughter, 'Hear your voice first.'"
