Splatter University

One crazed killer check....One escape from the local insane asylum after killing doctor double check! The local university is about to taste the blood of many victims as a pyscho killer takes an unholy revenge. He dispatches teachers, girls, boys with a knife to the breast, throat and head. Teacher Forbes Riley now is at the front of the murder fest and after exchanging more than words with her boyfriend and pupils, it means mayhem is about to unfold. Sadly this will mean more deaths and more dilemmas for the audience and the classes.

Splatter University is not really a great film. The film is by number slice and dice but it is has a few golden eggs. It is a very fun, keeps convention but playfully so. It does replicate previous films and well also. This slasher goes along a path familiar but with great techniques. Great death scenes and ones that slasher film watchers will really love. Then you have the score, which is simple but very effective. It cuts the scenes and underlines the growing awful murder fest. The film is not great and yes the awful acting and bad cinematography make it suck but these are all what you expect from a film of the period and mold so I will shut up...

The Brand new 2K scan adds nothing at all.... it looks grainy!
