Sean Penn and Leila George photographed together after finalising divorce

Sean Penn and Leila George were photographed spending time together at Coney Island, New York on Monday.

The pair were legally declared single nearly a month ago, after less than one year of marriage.

In snaps obtained by Page Six, Sean and Leila are seen chatting amicably and petting the dog they adopted together.

Sean was geared up in costume for the upcoming film Black Flies, suggesting Leila had caught him during a filming break on location.

Paparazzi also captured a film crew recording the actors as they walked and talked on the beach.

The Australian actress filed for divorce from Sean, 61, in October 2021.

The Mystic River actor, who admitted to being "a very neglectful guy" in an interview last month, was still wearing his wedding ring days later.

Paramedic drama Black Flies, also starring Tye Sheridan and Katherine Waterston, does not yet have a release date.
