Jessica Szohr announces engagement

Jessica Szohr is engaged to ice hockey player Brad Richardson.

The Gossip Girl actress announced their happy news on Instagram on Monday by sharing a black-and-white selfie with Brad. In the snap, she can be seen holding a bottle of wine up to her chin, with her sparkler on full display.

In the caption, she simply wrote, "I said yes!"

Jessica, 37, received congratulatory messages in the comments from her former Gossip Girl co-star Chace Crawford, who wrote, "Love you guys," and Twilight star Ashley Greene, who commented, "Aw sweet angel!! Congratulations!!!"

Nicky Hilton, Eiza Gonzalez, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Claire Holt also sent their congratulations to Jessica.

The Orville actress and sports star confirmed their relationship in April 2019. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Bowie, in January 2021.
