A battle-hardened soldier and a charismatic movie star face off in 'KAMA' a high-stakes game of truth and deceit
14 February 2025
Explosive, sexy, and violent, KAMA is a new thriller that pushes the boundaries of trust, betrayal, and vengeance, questioning the lengths people will go to for love and revenge.
Leo, a battle-hardened soldier returns home from Afghanistan to the devastating news of his wife Maya’s sudden death and is blindsided by a shocking discovery that threatens to unravel everything he thought he knew.
Driven by grief, anger, and an insatiable thirst for answers, Leo tracks down Sam at his home, making a visit that neither of them will ever forget.
What follows is a violent, psychological confrontation between two men who will use all means to gain the upper hand—one a grieving husband, the other a clever and arrogant star—who is used to getting what he wants. As they engage in a high-stakes game of truth and lies, tensions explode, secrets are laid bare and an already dark and dangerous situation spirals out of control.
The film stars Matt Wakeford (Not Going Out, Grace, I Hate Suzie), Tank Dhamala (Sarauto, Dangerous Game, Karma), Jemima Toms (Deadly Perfect, Intu Mintu Londonma, Ella), Samir Gurung (Fulbari, The Tiger’s Nest, 1915:Legend of the Gurkhas), Puja Gupta & Mia Bennett.
Kama is Directed by Veemsen Lama, an award-winning British/Nepalese filmmaker and former member of the British armed forces, with Executive Producer Bikram Joshi, Producer Hiral Joshi, & Co-Producers M.G. Amin & Ishwor Shrestha. Kama is written by Hiral Joshi, Bikram Joshi and Laxman Subedi.
Kama is a raw, unrelenting look at love, betrayal, and the blurred lines between right and wrong.
